About The Position
This position is for a Student Employee (non-exempt) at St. Olaf College. The primary purpose of this role is to monitor and fill piano humidifiers two times a week for approximately 35-40 pianos within the music buildings. The task is typically performed early in the morning before practice rooms and faculty studios are in use. The student will also be responsible for communicating any issues or concerns to the Piano Technicians.
Requirements
- Familiarity with pianos.
- Trustworthy and dependable individual.
- Ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the 35-40 pianos within the music buildings which have a humidifier system.
- Fill piano humidifiers with water as needed.
- Communicate with Piano Technicians if there are any issues or concerns.
