About The Position
To help the course instructor deliver and facilitate a high-quality laboratory experience that enables the planning and execution of student generated projects with GPS instruments, remote sensing data, and GIS software.
Requirements
- Completed the GIS and Remote Sensing (EnvSt 255) course or the equivalent
- Quantitative and/or mapping skills using software, such as, Google Earth or ArcGIS
- Experience with the planning and execution of GIS related field projects
- Clear and enthusiastic oral and written communication
- Understand the needs of students with diverse backgrounds and identities
Nice To Haves
- Communication – speak, listen, present, provide feedback
- Problem solve & trouble-shoot
- Collaborative project development
- Proficiency with ArcGIS software
Responsibilities
