About The Position

This posting is for a Student Part-Time Professor role for the course 'Loisir, sport et développement communautaire' (APA 3518, Section M00) during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course explores the role of community in democratic systems, theories of development, volunteerism, sport for development, citizen participation, social capital, inclusion, and analyzes community development activities with case studies on Indigenous populations, ethnic diversity, and gender diversity. The teaching mode is in-person, with classes scheduled for Mondays from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The position is limited to students who are part-time professors.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Leisure or a related field.
  • 3 credits of teaching.
  • 39 hours of teaching per semester.
  • In Person teaching mode.
  • Ability to teach in French.
  • Completion of mandatory legislated training.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in Leisure or a related field.
  • Experience teaching in a university setting.
  • An acceptable level of education/experience equivalent to the required education and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities
