About The Position

This position is for a Student Part-Time Professor to teach ENG1120, Selected Topics in Literature and Composition, during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course focuses on developing critical reading skills and coherent discourse, with readings in multiple genres serving as the basis for discussion and written assignments. It covers the proper use and acknowledgement of sources and is not repeatable for credit. This course is not intended for English Majors or Honours students.

Requirements

  • Ph.D (English)
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

  • Research expertise and publications in this area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
