Examination of clinical situations using case-based scenarios in interprofessional groups in class and simulation environments. Emphasis on identifying concepts and practicing competencies for interprofessional team work. Links to improved patient safety and clinical outcomes.
Requirements
- MScN.
- University level teaching experience.
- Current registration as RN or NP in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- An acceptable level of education/experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach Interprofessional Health Care course (SAI4120) during the 2027 Winter Semester.
- Conduct case-based scenarios in interprofessional groups.
- Facilitate learning in class and simulation environments.
- Emphasize identifying concepts and practicing competencies for interprofessional team work.
- Link course content to improved patient safety and clinical outcomes.
