About The Position
The Department of English is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor for ENG1120 MG00, Selected Topics in Literature and Composition, during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course focuses on developing critical reading skills and coherent discourse, including the proper use and acknowledgement of sources. Readings in multiple genres will be used for discussion and frequent written assignments. This course is not repeatable for credit and is not intended for English Majors or Honours students. The expected enrollment is 70 students, and the course is worth 3 credits.
Requirements
- Ph.D (English)
- Research expertise and publications in this area strongly preferred.
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
- All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
