About The Position

This position is for a Student Part-Time Professor to teach the course HSS2516M: La santé des francophones en situation minoritaire during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course focuses on identifying and explaining the biological, psychosocial, and environmental determinants of health that can affect disease development, disability, and health service delivery for the francophone minority population. This course is reserved for students enrolled in the Health Sciences program, the minor in Francophone Studies, and the certificate in Francophone Studies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Health Sciences or equivalent.
  • University-level teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated training or experience with the health of francophones in Canada, including genetic diseases, the Quebec health system, and health inequalities.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course HSS2516M: La santé des francophones en situation minoritaire.
  • Identify and explain the biological, psychosocial, and environmental determinants of health affecting the francophone minority population.
  • Address disease development, disability, and health service delivery within this population.
