About The Position

This position is for a Student Part-Time Professor to teach Business Data Mining (ADM3308M) during the 2027 Winter Semester at the Telfer School of Management. The course provides an introduction to the data mining process, including tasks like classification, clustering, and association rules, as well as modeling techniques such as decision trees, neural networks, and regression analysis. It also covers the management of Big Data and Big Data Analytics, with examples in various managerial applications like CRM, marketing, sales, credit scoring, churn, and survival analysis. The teaching method will be delivered in person.

Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or Master's Degree (PhD preferred) in an area directly related to the course.
  • Demonstrate recent relevant experience in the area of the course.
  • Must have teaching experience, preferably in the area of Business Data Mining.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
