About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the Business and Society course (ADM1301P) during the Winter 2027 semester at the Telfer School of Management. The course focuses on understanding business within its socio-economic, political, and technological environments, and explores themes such as ethical management, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and strategic governance. The teaching method will be delivered in person.

Requirements

MBA or Master's degree (PhD preferred) in an area related to the social context of business.
Must demonstrate recent professional and teaching experience directly related to the course.
Competence in second language: Passive.
Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

Responsibilities

Teach the Business and Society course (ADM1301P) during the Winter 2027 semester.
Distinguish between and properly utilize collaborative governance mechanisms that join private, public and civic organizations.
Address real-world themes of ethical management, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, diversity and inclusion and strategic governance that arise within the social context of business.
