About The Position

The Telfer School of Management is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor to teach ADM2313M, The Entrepreneurial Society, during the Winter 2027 semester. This course explores the entrepreneurial process, characteristics of entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, the role of women and minorities in entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial failure, and entrepreneurship as an economic development strategy. It also covers steps in moving entrepreneurial endeavors forward and introduces ideation and business planning.

Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or a Master's degree (PhD preferred) in the area of entrepreneurship.
  • Must demonstrate recent professional experience in the area of the course.
  • Must have teaching experience, preferably in the area of the course.
  • Competence in a second language (passive).

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in the area of entrepreneurship is preferred.
  • Teaching experience in the area of the course is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach ADM2313M, The Entrepreneurial Society, during the Winter 2027 semester.
  • Deliver the course content in person.
  • Potentially adapt teaching methods due to health measures or other reasons.
  • Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
