About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse (SNAP) for our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) located within the Edgewood Hospital. This is a full-time position with 30 hours per week, working the Day Shift from 7A-7P. The Student Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN or LPN. This role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing for personal care and comfort, and assisting in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Currently enrolled in good standing at an accredited nursing program
- Successful completion of first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2.75 GPA
- Not listed on Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
