About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Hennepin Healthcare System. The role operates under the Patient and Family Centered Care model, providing and coordinating nursing care. Responsibilities include protecting, promoting, and optimizing health, preventing illness and injury, alleviating suffering through treatment of human response, partnering with patients and their families, and documenting interventions and care plans.
Requirements
- 1 year of current adult ICU professional nursing (RN) experience or 2 years of current inpatient Med/Surg professional nursing (RN) experience
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
Nice To Haves
- Certification in area of clinical specialty
- BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
