About The Position

Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.

Requirements

• Current registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• 1 - 2 years Med-Surg experience required
• Current BLS required.
• Current ACLS required or completion of ACLS prior to end of orientation required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• 1 - 2 years Critical Care experience preferred.
• CCRN preferred
• Acute care surgical experience preferred.
• Med-Surg certification preferred.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
