About The Position

This role involves delivering compassionate, direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring that each individual's daily needs and comfort are met with dignity. The intern will monitor and track vital signs and patient responses to provide the clinical team with real-time data for safe and effective interventions. Accurate documentation of the patient's journey and clinical observations is crucial for maintaining high-quality medical records and seamless care transitions. The intern will collaborate with their preceptor to refine care plans, using frontline observations to help shape the best possible outcomes for patients. Additional tasks include preparing and transporting patients for diagnostics and supporting a clean, safe healing environment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High school diploma/GED required.
Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer.
Completed 1st semester of RN curriculum (or higher).
Active MBON CNA Certification required.
60-hour minimum per semester (~5–6 shifts, flexible scheduling).
