About The Position

This role involves delivering compassionate, direct patient care under RN supervision, ensuring every individual’s daily needs and comfort are met with dignity. The intern will monitor and track vital signs and patient responses to provide the clinical team with real-time data necessary for safe, effective interventions. Responsibilities also include accurately documenting the patient’s journey and clinical observations to maintain high-quality medical records and seamless care transitions. The intern will collaborate with their preceptor to refine care plans, using frontline observations to help shape the best possible outcomes for patients. Additional tasks include preparing/transporting patients for diagnostics and supporting a clean, safe healing environment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High school diploma/GED required.
Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer.
