About The Position

The Navigator Program is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Peer Guides to support incoming students in Flight Planning classes for Fall 2026. Peer Guides play an important role in helping new students transition to university life. This is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills, mentor new students, make a positive impact on campus, and gain valuable experience working with incoming freshmen.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Demonstrate leadership and strong communication skills.
  • Be responsible, reliable, creative, energetic, and self-motivated.
  • Work well as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude and sense of humor.
  • Understand and support the goals and philosophy of the Navigator Program.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Serving as a resource for incoming freshmen on social, personal, and academic issues.
  • Leading discussions and activities during Flight Planning classes.
  • Helping new students and their families become familiar with university policies, procedures, campus resources, and student activities.
  • Supporting the overall success of the Navigator Program.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
