About The Position

The Student Ministry Director provides leadership for the church's ministry of middle and high school students (6th-12th grade) by fostering spiritual growth, building relationships, equipping leaders, and creating opportunities for students to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Maintain flexibility for evening, weekend, and special ministry events.
Pursue ongoing personal and spiritual growth.

Responsibilities

Provide biblical teaching, discipleship, and spiritual guidance for students.
Lead students toward a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Plan and oversee youth services, small groups, events, camps, retreats, and outreach opportunities.
Create a welcoming environment that encourages student participation and growth.
Recruit, train, and support volunteer leaders.
Manage ministry communication, scheduling, budget, and resources.
Build meaningful relationships with students and families.
Provide encouragement, mentoring, and pastoral support as needed.
Work closely with church staff and volunteers to support the mission and vision of the church.
Participate in church-wide events and leadership meetings.
Plan and prepare for Sunday Morning Youth meetings 2x per month
Plan & prepare 2 youth community gatherings per month
Go to camp with Students
