About The Position

The Marketing Co-Op Student supports the execution and coordination of marketing and communication activities for the Apotex Canadian generics portfolio. Working under the guidance of the Associate Director, Marketing & Promotions and in collaboration with cross-functional teams, the Co-Op Student assists with product communications, digital content updates, promotional material development, and administrative coordination to ensure accurate and timely delivery of marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a University program (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proactive attitude with willingness to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship, co-op, or academic project experience in marketing or business is an asset
  • Exposure to digital tools (e.g., CRM, email platforms) is considered an asset but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of product launches by preparing draft communications, supporting materials, and tracking timelines
  • Support product transitions and updates (e.g., discontinuations, packaging changes) through content preparation and stakeholder coordination
  • Help maintain product catalogue content and support updates with cross-functional teams
  • Support updates and maintenance of digital platforms (e.g., Pardot distribution lists, templates, Salesforce libraries)
  • Assist with uploading and organizing marketing assets in digital repositories
  • Support GS1 activities (e.g., images, catalogue updates) under supervision
  • Support development and updates of marketing materials including email templates, detail aids, and sales tools
  • Draft internal and external communications for review (e.g., product updates, pricing changes, launch announcements)
  • Assist in routing materials for review and approval to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Monitor shared mailboxes and help respond to routine inquiries
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials for tradeshows and events (e.g., print materials, booth assets)
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for event execution
  • Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all
