About The Position
The Student Lifeguard position involves basic lifeguarding duties, assisting with all equipment duties in assigned pool sports, and working the pool deck in all capacities. The role requires the individual to be present and attentive to all individuals in the water while on duty, dressed appropriately as a Lifeguard or in suitable pool/water attire. Additionally, the position includes providing administrative and office support to the Aquatic center.
Requirements
- Must be CPR / First Aid certified
- Advanced swimmer
Responsibilities
- Assist with all equipment duties in assigned pool sport
- Work the pool deck in all capacities
- Present and attentive to all who are in the water while on duty
- Dressed as a Lifeguard or in appropriate pool/water attire
- Admin/office support to the Aquatic center
