About The Position

The Student Life & Leadership Intern supports JCCC’s mission by contributing to the development and implementation of student life initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in program development, student leadership training, marketing, and event coordination. The intern will collaborate with professional staff to enhance student experiences, support ambassador programs, and execute strategic initiatives that promote campus involvement and belonging.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student
  • Interest in student affairs, higher education, marketing, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in student leadership, campus involvement, or event planning
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Create marketing presentations and promotional materials
  • Assemble program marketing packages (digital and print)
  • Support social media campaigns and engagement efforts
  • Co-develop training agendas, materials, and activities
  • Facilitate ambassador training sessions
  • Collect and incorporate participant feedback
  • Support Student Engagement Desk, Call Center, and Student Lounge Operations
  • Provide accurate information and referrals to students
  • Maintain documentation of interactions and issue resolution
  • Other duties as assigned
