About The Position

Great Basin College is seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to fill the position of Part-Time Student Life Coordinator at the Elko campus. The Part-Time Student Life Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing the overall student experience by coordinating and implementing various programs and activities that contribute to a vibrant campus life.

Requirements

Strong organizational and event planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff.
Understanding of student development principles and the ability to apply them in a higher education setting.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Organize and execute engaging events and activities to foster a sense of community and camaraderie among students.
Collaborate with student organizations and clubs to support and enhance their initiatives.
Develop and implement strategies to increase student involvement in campus activities and events.

Provide support services to students, including counseling, mentorship, and resources to enhance their overall college experience.
Act as a liaison between students and relevant campus resources.
Effectively communicate information about upcoming events, programs, and resources to the student body.
Utilize various communication channels, including social media and campus bulletin boards, to promote student life activities.
Collaborate with academic departments, residence life, and other campus entities to integrate student life initiatives into the overall college experience.
Participate in campus committees and meetings related to student engagement and success.
