Requirements

  • Working towards a university degree in Computer Science or Computer/Mechatronic/System Design Engineering - ideally in your 2nd or 3rd year of study.
  • Foundational knowledge on developing and deploying applications and services in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of system architecture concepts (Monolithic vs Microservices).
  • Must be in a registered co-op program to be considered for this opportunity.
  • Must be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the co-op term.
  • Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous knowledge of scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, Ruby, Perl and Linux/Unix shell would be an asset.
  • Experience working in an agile/kanban environment using JIRA/Confluence is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and maintaining architecture diagrams, models, and documentation.
  • Support analysis of business and technical requirements for new solutions.
  • Participate in technology evaluations and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Help maintain architecture repositories and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for assessment.
  • Contribute to presentations and documentation for architecture governance meetings and projects.
