About The Position

Alliance is seeking a Spring or Summer 2026 intern to join the Human Resources Talent Acquisition team. The ideal candidate is motivated to learn and develop skills in recruitment and HR processes. This role supports core HR functions, including recruiting coordination, document management, and career fair logistics. The intern will work remotely and must reside in North Carolina. Compliance training in Morrisville is required prior to the start date. While there is no expectation of coming into the office routinely, the selected candidate must reside in NC and be available to report onsite to the Alliance Home Office (Morrisville, North Carolina) for business meetings as needed. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to recruitment and talent initiatives, including sourcing, candidate engagement, and project-based work. It’s an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field to gain real-world experience in a growing, fast-paced, healthcare environment. Mentorship and guidance from experienced HR professionals will be provided. The internship may be extended through Summer 2026.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a local college or university and majoring in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s (sophomore–senior) or master’s degree in human resources preferred.
  • Prior experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality with discretion and professionalism.
  • Support recruitment efforts by sourcing and screening candidates.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Assist with recruitment marketing initiatives, including referral programs and employer branding.
  • Contribute to projects such as SOP development, interviewer training, and talent pipeline initiatives.
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience through timely and effective communication.
