About The Position

Wiley|Wilson is accepting applications for a paid summer 2027 Electrical Engineering internship in its Alexandria, Virginia office. Interns work alongside experienced, licensed engineers on real projects and gain firsthand experience at a 100% employee-owned architecture and engineering firm. The internship offers opportunities to assist with electrical design and early project planning, contribute to active projects, attend client meetings, and participate in site and construction visits whenever possible. Although the company offers a work-from-home policy, summer internships are primarily in-office; the balance of office and remote work will be determined between the intern and their manager.

Wiley|Wilson is a full-service architecture and engineering firm serving government, institutional, and private-sector clients. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program.
• Will have completed at least the second year of the program by summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical design and early project planning.
• Work on active projects.
• Attend client meetings.
• Participate in site and construction visits whenever possible.
