About The Position
Wiley|Wilson is accepting applications for a paid summer 2027 Electrical Engineering internship in its Alexandria, Virginia office. Interns work alongside experienced, licensed engineers on real projects and learn about working at a 100% employee-owned architecture and engineering firm. The internship provides opportunities to assist with electrical design and early project planning, contribute to active projects, attend client meetings, and participate in site and construction visits when possible. The summer internship is primarily an in-office experience, with the balance of office and remote work determined between the intern and their manager.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program.
- Completion of at least the second year of the program by summer 2027.
Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical design and early project planning.
- Work on active projects.
- Attend client meetings.
- Participate in site and construction visits whenever possible.
