Emergence Academy Fall 2026 Student Intern
About The Position
Emergence Academy is seeking a Fall 2026 Student Intern to support the Principal and staff with various organizational and administrative tasks. This role is located within the Commerce High School Building and offers an opportunity to gain experience in a school setting. The Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership (SEZP) is dedicated to improving educational outcomes for students by combining district-based education with autonomous school models, focusing on curriculum, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting with accountability for student learning. SEZP is guided by core values of Access, Belonging, and Opportunity.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in the field preferred
- Relevant Associates degree preferred

Responsibilities
- Organizing computer carts, projectors, and document cameras
- Organizing school supply purchases
- Organizing Leveled Literacy Intervention books and binders
- Labeling DEAR books
- Organizing uniform orders
- Completing any other tasks needed by the building Principal/staff
- Covering the Main Office when needed
Benefits
- Pay rate of $15.00 per hour
