About The Position

This department-based internship provides a hands-on learning experience. The intern receives academic credit in accordance with the school’s and internship’s guidelines. Duties are based on department requirements and the student’s course of study; the host department will provide a detailed description. The position may require in-person cross-coverage at other Primary Care practices according to staffing needs. Cross-coverage needs will be identified and discussed with local and regional leadership, and flexibility is preferred. The position does not require patient care.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
No experience required.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Good time management skills.
Strong oral communication skills.
Ability to take and follow direction.
Willingness to learn.
