About The Position
This position assists Radiologic Technologists with patient care and imaging procedures. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the examination area and equipment, explaining procedures to patients to ensure their comfort and cooperation, obtaining and recording patient information, and positioning patients and equipment for optimal imaging.
Requirements
- Enrolled in radiologic technologist training

Responsibilities
- Assists Radiologic Technologists, as requested, throughout the procedure.
- Cleans and maintains examination table, equipment and work area.
- Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety, ensure safety and comfort, and obtain cooperation.
- Obtains and records patient information.
- Positions patient on examining the table; sets up and adjusts equipment to obtain an optimum view of specific body area as requested by the physician.
- Positions x-ray equipment and adjusts controls to set exposure factors, such as time and distance.
