About The Position
This fellowship involves assisting the directors of the Hub for Civic and Global Leadership with various tasks. Responsibilities include logistical planning, such as outreach to speakers and community partners, attending hub meetings, advertising hub events and work to campus and Collegeville community members, updating and assisting in the design of the hub webpage, and developing and engaging social media networks.
Requirements
- Strong writing and general communication skills
- Demonstrated independence and self-motivation
- Familiarity with social media networks and ability to engage the public professionally
- Commitment to inclusive programming and a desire to learn about others
Responsibilities
- Assist the Hub for Civic and Global Leadership directors with logistical planning (activities may include email outreach to speakers or community partners)
- Attend hub meetings
- Advertise hub events and the hub's work more generally (audiences include campus and Collegeville community members)
- Update/assist in designing the hub webpage
- Develop and engage social media networks when appropriate
