Requirements Job Overview The Student Health Services Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the holistic well‑being of students by working across three integrated service areas: Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS), Health Education Services (HES). and Student Outreach and Support (SOS). This position helps create a welcoming, student‑centered environment. The Coordinator ensures smooth daily operations, facilitates communication among service teams, and contributes to programming that enhances the overall student experience. The employee is responsible for oversight of ordering and reconciling payment for office supplies and services, establishing and maintaining relationships with various vendors, campus, and community partners, assisting staff with IT and Human Resources needs, maintaining licensure and other required certifications and trainings for providers and clinicians, and daily financial operations. Work Interactions Collaborating with other Georgetown departments to complete the business of the Student Health Services department (e.g., facilities, finance, UIS) as well as outside vendors Collaborating with CAPS clinicians and psychiatrists, Student Outreach and Support (SOS) and Health Education Services (HES) staff members to assist students in accessing services at Student Health Services at Capitol campus.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience managing college mental office, as well as demonstrated experience working with the issues noted in the position description.
