About The Position

This position supports the daily operations of the Student Health office, public health programming, and the Hunger Free Campus Task Force. The role involves greeting students, managing the essential needs pantry and corner, organizing the stock room, filing, planning events, designing bulletin boards, staffing distribution events, managing the Student Health Services Instagram account, and collaborating with other campus offices. Students working multiple jobs on campus must notify their managers and are limited to 20 hours per week during the academic year and 980 hours per calendar year. Student jobs do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer. Requirements

  • Must be a current student
  • Students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year.
  • Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.

Responsibilities

  • Greet students and answer questions in person and over the phone
  • Stock the essential needs pantry and the essential needs corner, including checking for expired products
  • Organize the stock room
  • Filing
  • Plan one event per semester in collaboration with the nurse
  • Design office bulletin boards
  • Staff monthly produce distribution
  • Staff monthly wholesale grocery club packaging and distribution
  • Run the Student Health Services Instagram account, including weekly posts
  • Collaborate with other campus offices, including Athletics, Counseling Center, and Student Engagement
