About The Position
Wild Rose Co-op is looking for a Student Grocery Clerk I to join our Killam Food Store Team! Co-op does business differently. As a co-operative, we believe in working together to serve Western Canadians, delivering profits back to our communities and investing in sustainable growth. This position will report to the Grocery Manager - Killam Food. This is a Full-time position based on 8 - 16 hrs/week, the successful candidate will have the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends. - Previous experience in customer service is an asset
Responsibilities
- Providing customers with excellent, efficient, courteous service
- Provide a neat, clean, fresh and well merchandised department
- All duties associated with inventory stocking and taking inventory counts
- Compliance with government standards and regulations that apply to the Killam Food store
- Complete up-to-date in-house training and certifications via e-learning courses
- Alert for the unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment
- Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meets the store’s standards
- Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules
- Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others
- Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures
