Mindrift is recruiting native Dutch speakers who grew up in Belgium and currently live in New York City for a paid, in-person research study about how people use phones, apps, and everyday digital tools across languages and cultures. The study will help researchers understand how Dutch speakers use their devices and inform the design of future products. Participants will spend 1–3 days with the research team in Midtown Manhattan. They will demonstrate how they use their phones and favorite apps in daily life, share examples of everyday phone activity at their discretion, and complete a short questionnaire about their habits. Participation is voluntary and governed by a signed consent form. Participants may ask questions at any point and may stop participating whenever they choose. The study pays $100 per hour, up to $2,400 for the full study. To apply, register on Mindrift and complete a short screening questionnaire. Session dates will be confirmed for shortlisted applicants.
