We’re on the hunt for a motivated and talented Finance Co-Op Student to join our small, dynamic and fun Finance team at our Brampton, ON office. This is an 8 month term starting in September 2026.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus in finance, accounting, business, commerce, mathematics, statistics, actuarial sciences or a related discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A self-starter with the ability to perform in a dynamic working environment.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Team-friendly attitude and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or understanding of financial analysis and financial reporting is a plus.
  • Experience with accounting systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Financial modelling forecasting and analysis.
  • Participating in research, analyses and accounting assessments.
  • Developing and running financial models.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline current processes.
  • Providing strong financial governance, including assisting with monthly reporting cycle and related account reconciliations and standards of documentation.
  • Performing ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
  • Preparing tax provision working papers and other tax accounting matters as required.
  • Preparing Canadian corporate tax returns.
  • Assisting with the analysis and compilation of eligible Scientific Research and Experimental Development expenditures and estimates of investment tax credits.
  • Supporting of day-to-day tax functions (e.g. reviewing assessment notices, monitoring tax instalments, following up with tax authorities, etc.).
  • Assisting in internal audit projects.
