About The Position

This position assists in the management of athletic equipment and laundry for Northwestern's Athletics department. The role involves daily laundering of athletic clothing and supplies, distribution of uniforms, organization and cleaning of the laundry room, and collection of items from locker rooms and gym areas. Responsibilities also include performing game set-up for home contests and completing end-of-season equipment inventory. As part of a faith-driven community, employees serve as ministers of the gospel by partnering with the University to disciple students and with Northwestern Media to lead people to Christ.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily laundering of team, individual, and training room clothing, towels and washable supplies
• Distribute individual laundry and uniforms to athletes and stock training and coach’s locker rooms with clean towels
• Assist with daily organization and cleaning of the laundry room and supplies
• Perform daily walk-through of locker rooms, gym and hallways to collect towels and team uniforms/supplies and return athletic equipment to appropriate storage area
• Perform game set-up requirements for athletic home contests as assigned
• Complete end-of-season team and department equipment inventory
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned
