Student - Dining Services Catering Dishwasher
About The Position
Utah Valley University Dining Services is seeking a current UVU student to assist Catering Services with dishwasher duties. The role supports day-to-day dishroom operations and requires proper care of sinks, floors, and dishware, as well as adherence to cleaning and safety procedures. The employee uses appropriate cleaning techniques for dining ware, dishware, and silverware and maintains supplies, chemicals, and equipment in the dishroom and laundry area. Student workers are expected to be friendly and helpful, follow supervisor directions, arrive on time in a clean uniform, and complete assigned duties. The required schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Must be a current UVU student.
- Must be able to work 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to walk, bend, lift, push, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be friendly, helpful, and able to follow directions from a supervisor.
