Student Development Generalist: Part Time
About The Position
Tri County Technical College is seeking dedicated professionals for the Part-Time/Temporary Student Services Generalist position at their Oconee Campus. This role serves as the first point of contact, providing engaging customer service to students and visitors. The position offers administrative and logistical support for the front desk, main office, and campus team, and supports wrap-around services for Student Development programming and Accessibility Resource Center accommodations. The ideal candidate will be student-centered, enthusiastic, and skilled in problem-solving, with the ability to multitask and handle detailed processes with a positive attitude.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, visitors, and colleagues through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, emails or other written requests.
- Be familiar with general college information and academic programs, including corporate and community education.
- Advise and counsel students related to student development areas such as vocational, wellness, student resources, accessibility, and similar areas.
- Maintain confidential records and reports.
- Assist with the Ready Experience student focused programs, campus events and activities, including but not limited to student orientation.
- Assist with accommodative testing as needed, other campus events as needed.
- Provide support as needed for the Oconee campus, and for the Student Development Division.
