We are seeking an innovative machine learning student to join our team as a Student, Data Governance Analyst. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, Data Governance, this role presents an exciting opportunity to apply cutting-edge ML techniques and develop sophisticated automation tools for advanced metadata management. This student position offers immersive experience in advanced data governance, machine learning applications, and automation within a fast-paced business environment. Requirements
- This opportunity is available to students with a August 2026 or later graduation date
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Pursuing an advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or Data Sciences (or equivalent)
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proactive self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Python, VS Studio, MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and business concepts
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Python; experience with VBA, Tableau, and financial reporting is highly valued
Responsibilities
- Implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms to classify and protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
- Design and develop robust Python-based automation tools using Visual Studio Code for complex metadata management tasks
- Lead machine learning projects and spearhead process optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with the Finance Data Governance Team on: Creating comprehensive data dictionaries, Developing intricate data flow and lineage maps, Performing in-depth data profiling and analysis, Driving project management initiatives and ensuring timely deliverables
