About The Position

Actalent is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join their Credit Department at their Corporate office in Tempe, AZ. This is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. The role involves acting as a Data Governance Steward, responsible for processing and resolving data inquiries and errors related to customer setup in Connected (Salesforce) and PeopleSoft. This includes researching issues, customer data, and collaborating with Credit Analysts and field office representatives to update customer records. The analyst will become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the team and will eventually assist managers with reports related to daily deliverables to ensure high-level customer service.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience or a college degree preferred
  • Ability to learn and use new software applications
  • Ability to communicate well with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently as a member of a team
  • Must be detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Dun and Bradstreet to research client demographic information
  • Process Data Correction cases and maintain manual accounts created in Connected by Account Managers
  • Submit investigations to Dun and Bradstreet to research potential errors
  • Partner with IS, IM&R, Tek and Program Managers to assess data clean-up efforts
  • Partner with SS&O team(s) and IS to ensure accounts are tied properly in Connected to the appropriate SS&O owner(s)
  • Process CRG forms accurately and in a timely manner
  • Work with Credit Analysts to research and investigate potential CRG errors
  • Assist CSM with monthly Write-offs, PeopleSoft Audit/clean up (SIC Codes, Terms, Ratings, Credit Class etc.)
  • Validate and update customer profiles in PeopleSoft
  • Audit and place accounts with our outside collection firms
  • Partner with FSG, Credit Analysts, the field and other departments to ensure GTW CRG’s are completed in a timely manner
  • Participate on calls with IS on Data Governance issues
  • Assist in training of new Data Governance Analysts and scheduling events for the department
