About The Position

Project Fellows are returning College Events student staff responsible for many of the activities related to the efficient operation of the College Events office. This includes but is not limited to project coordination, documentation support, and on-site execution for the College Events team. Project Fellows will work 10 hours per week, between the hours of Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Preference may be given to candidates with a valid drivers’ license, though it is not required.

Requirements

  • Must be a current St. Olaf student in good academic and disciplinary standing.
  • Previous experience in College Events or equivalent experience working in event management, project management, Asana, 25Live, and/or technology and media is required.

Responsibilities

  • Audit past event projects and update project management tools with deadlines and dependencies.
  • Work closely with Assistant Director to support advanced planning; developing programming briefs, updating timelines, etc.
  • Collaborate with College Events staff and student teams to maintain accurate storage inventory.
  • Support on-site event execution with customer service, setup/teardown, technology support, and troubleshooting issues.
  • General office work: Storage organization, data entry, calling clients, preparing registration materials, errands, etc.
  • Driving: Those who meet the St. Olaf fleet vehicle driving requirements will be asked to drive campus vehicles around campus and into Northfield.
  • Contribute to the overall work of the College Events team by performing other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
