About The Position

This is a State Certified Nurse Aide Training Program offered by NHC Healthcare Greenwood. The program is a fast-paced, 3-week course. The first two weeks focus on lecture and book work, while the third week involves hands-on patient care in a clinical learning environment. The next class starts July 13, 2026. Upon successful completion, students may be considered for employment based on facility need, shift demand, entrance exam score, previous work history, and overall attitude.

Requirements

• Completed Application
• Valid Photo Identification
• Social Security Card
• Proof of High School Diploma or GED
• No absences or tardiness permitted.
• Maintain a grade average of 85 to continue in the course.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass a check of the South Carolina and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults.
• No felony conviction.
• No certain misdemeanor charges.
• Not found on the abuse registry.
