About The Position

This is a fast-paced, 2-week state-certified nurse aide training program. To be considered for the class, applicants must provide a completed application, valid photo identification, and Social Security card at the time of their interview. No absences or tardiness are permitted, and students must maintain an 85% grade average to continue in the course. A $25 deposit is required on the first day for books and supplies, which will be returned upon graduation. Students will also need to purchase royal blue scrubs to wear daily. Selection for the class is based on facility need, shift availability, entrance exam score, candidate flexibility, previous work history, and attitude. Employment opportunities may be available upon successful completion of the course.
