About The Position

The Student Business Analyst supports business operations, technology initiatives, and process improvement efforts by gathering requirements, analyzing data, documenting workflows, and assisting with project activities. This role provides students with hands-on experience in business analysis, project management, and information systems while contributing to organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with project management, Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Understanding of business process improvement concepts.
• Previous internship, student employment, or project experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements and workflows from stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings with business and technical teams to elicit and understand business/process requirements.
• Support project managers and business analysts with project planning, testing, and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned work.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
