About The Position

As a Student in Business Analysis, Fidelity Canada’s Information Services (IS) division, you will have the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience supporting Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) projects & scrum team deliverables that connect business needs with technology solutions while working under the guidance and supervision of experienced Business Analysts. You will support requirements gathering through active participation in meetings with Business Stakeholders and IS team members to capture and document business and technical needs. You will also assist with the documentation of requirements, current versus future state, impact and gap analysis, and collaborate with QA partners in the build-out of test cases and UAT activities. Additionally, you will bring your fresh perspective and ideas vis a vis AI Automation and tooling in support of ad hoc Business Analysis team initiatives.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in post-secondary programs such as Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • An analytical mindset
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and active listening skills
  • The ability to multitask, manage timelines and deliverables
  • You must be enrolled in a registered co-op program to be considered for this opportunity
  • You will be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the term
  • Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

Nice To Haves

  • While no prior work experience is required, a keen interest in Business Analysis, Technology and Process Improvement is an asset.
  • Familiarity with BABOK methodology and Business Analysis Best Practices, exposure to group projects, case studies, or coursework involving problem‑solving, systems, or process mapping are an asset
