About The Position

The University of Texas School of Law strives to create and promote an environment that values kindness and mutual respect and a culture that provides a deep sense of belonging for each member of our community. The Texas Law Alumni Relations and Development department serves to foster a lifelong community among its 27,000+ members, supporting the school’s mission through fundraising, engagement, and networking. Key purposes include raising funds for scholarships and programs, organizing events like reunions and regional meetings, strengthening student-alumni mentorship, and enhancing the school's reputation and prestige. The purpose of this position is to support the Alumni Relations and Development team through administrative and operational assistance.

Requirements

  • Enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin as an undergraduate student
  • Meet minimum eligibility requirements for student employment
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to work for entire 26-27 academic year

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Knowledge and/or experience with UT policies and procedures and VIP database

Responsibilities

  • Front desk support – Greet alumni with a professional demeanor
  • Mailing and shipping support
  • General clerical tasks and data entry
  • Other office, events, and development duties as assigned
