About The Position

At the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP), we are focused on improving opportunities and outcomes for Michiganders from preschool to postsecondary. MiLEAP was created in July 2023 and is the newest department in the State of Michigan. This position will work in the Child Development and Care (CDC), Program Administration Support (PAS) section. The student will assist customers with questions related to provider enrollment and general CDC program questions.

Requirements

• Must provide evidence of enrollment or acceptance to an educational institution.
• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per term.
• Must provide proof of enrollment at the start of each term.
• Must provide current proof of enrollment with the application.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing CDC provider applications received for accuracy.
• Contacting providers for missing information.
• Assigning and entering applications into the database.
• Creating scanned provider files.
• Assisting customers with questions related to provider enrollment and general CDC program questions.
