About The Position

The Tech Advancement Student Assistant (TASA) works directly for the Career Services department to manage a variety of advancements related to software, AI and other technology initiatives. Overall, the position includes the development of AI initiatives, software implementation (marketing, usage, training) and working on other technology initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled and completed at least one term as a student at SFBU.
  • Must possess a high level of technology experience, including the ability to understand/manage software.
  • Must possess a high level of AI experience including Agentic creation and execution.
  • Excellent public speaking, organization, and project management skills.
  • Customer service orientation, high level of professionalism, ability to follow procedures, and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude; ability to serve as a role model and mentor to other students
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20lbs

Responsibilities

  • Manage the marketing and usage of existing and new software; and other technology initiatives.
  • Assist in the implementation of any new software.
  • Train students and staff on all software and technology initiatives as needed.
  • Develop AI specific initiatives for the department.
  • Develop other technology initiatives as determined by the Director.
  • Some administrative tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
