About The Position

The candidate is expected to work on a NIH-funded research project that focuses on evaluating the pharmacokinetics of cancer therapeutics in rodent tumor models, conduct animal experiments on rodents, including establishing tumor models, administrating nanoformulations, collecting and processing tissue samples, quantifying drug concentrations using HPLC, Analyze data; draft protocols and SOPs. This recruitment is open both to current UF students and external applicants.

Requirements

  • Highly motivated individual who recently graduated with B.S. or M.S. degree in one of the following areas or any field related to these areas: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Biological/Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, and Analytical Chemistry.
  • Experience with handling small animals and basic animal surgery skills.
  • Experience in analyzing sample using HPLC.
  • Experience in cell culture and in vitro experiment.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment and to communicate in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Highly motivated individual who is enrolled in or recently graduated with B.S. or M.S. degree in one of the following areas or any field related to these areas: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Biological/Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, and Analytical Chemistry.
  • Ph.D. degree is not required, but applicant with PhD degree can also apply.
