About The Position
The student worker is expected to participate in research projects in turfgrass entomology and pathology. This role involves working in laboratory, greenhouse, and field conditions. The position is temporary and scheduled for 10 hours per week on the first shift. Final candidates will undergo a background check, and a drug screen or physical may be required post-offer.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with implementation and evaluation of turfgrass field trials
- Processing soil samples to extract turfgrass nematodes
- Assisting with laboratory bioassays on entomopathogenic nematodes and their symbiotic bacteria
