Student Assistant 2 - Animal Sciences
About The Position
Responsible for conducting research and experiments in Animal Functional Genomics Laboratory in the Department of Animal Sciences, for a temporary term; performs basic science and applied research in the field of Poultry Genetics including production of knock-out avian species using CRISPR/Cas9 system; plans and performs experiments and procedures; coordinates, collects, and analyzes data; assists in preparing research results for publication in reports, papers, journal, presentations, conference and other media; assists with laboratory techniques and operates laboratory equipment; and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing research experiments for research projects, generating clear and timely records of experimental work, analyzing data, and developing figures and reports
- Assist in animal management and organizing samples.
